Austin + Katie | Married | Highland Park Community House Wedding

I've known Austin since we were both wee little children, we have countless memories of hide and seek, playing video games, goofing off, sending Psych quotes back and forth, and just being generally silly. I was lucky enough to witness him proposing to his (then) girlfriend...

and now his wedding day! Austin and Katie are both such generous and kind people, they love the ones around them so well, and in turn they are very well loved back! It was clear throughout the whole day! Here is a peek at their beautiful wedding day!

Can we talk for a second about Austin's awesome details? A guitar tie clip, X-Wing Starfighter cufflinks, Lagavulin.....

Katie has been writing letters to her future husband since she was in her teens. In the weeks leading up to the wedding day she had been giving them to Austin. She finished the last letter to give to him the morning of her wedding day.

After a spontaneous dance break to Shania Twain dance break (complete with chocolate crescent microphone) Katie got into her dress. Seeing as I started tearing up seeing her in her dress, I was so excited to see Austin's face! They chose not to see each other, but they did want to pray together before the ceremony.

They could not have picked a more gorgeous day to get married!

Austin being an only child, hearing both his parent's speeches was really touching.

When Austin proposed last August, he played and sang a song for Katie, Austin surprised her by recording the song for her.

Katie didn't know it, but not only had he recorded the song he proposed with, but he also surprised her by recorded his own version of The Way You Look Tonight for their first dance!
