So I decided I wanted to try something new out on the blog. I was trying to think what I enjoy that would make a good regular post to put out. Something that was more personal and not necesarily business related. Right around that time I was procrastinating and had realized that you can upload your own playlist covers on Spotify, so I was creating covers for a bunch of my favorite playlists. That mixed with my general love of music, and the fact that the bulk of when I listen to music is while I’m editing photos, I decided I would try out creating a playlist of some of the songs that I love that month.

You will quickly realize I have a pretty diverse taste when it comes to music.
I’m not sure if I’m going to stick with this every month, but we’ll see. I’m going to give quick descriptions/explanations as to why I was loving some of the songs on the playlist. What do you guys think?
Dancing Through Life
Literally no idea why this got stuck in my head. I love this soundtrack, but if I’m honest this has been one of my least favorites on the album. But for whatever reason it was stuck in my head for pretty much an entire day!
Sweet Creature
Okay y’all. I’m telling you. Say what you will about One Direction, but Harry Style’s album is actually pretty dang good. (but this is probably my favorite track from the album)

Last month Njomza put out an ep. I did work with her on a few occasions back in 2012. I was excited to see her put some new stuff out. hear me is definitely my fave.
Love Someone
I love hearing the stories behind couple’s first dance picks. This was one I hadn’t heard until Jared + Erin’s wedding 2 years ago. It lives in my “Lovey Dovey” playlist on spotify that I listen to all the time while editing weddings and engagement sessions.
The Beatles
So I have a few Beatles songs on here. Some of them are on there just cause I love them (I’ve Just Seen A Face) But then a couple of them are there for specific reasons. Honey Pie is on there, because my best friend (and now roommate) went out to the Milwaukee Restaurant Honey Pie for dinner while we were waiting to hear if we got approved for our apartment.
Blackbird is on there because Steve + Emily’s wedding day was filled with Beatles songs, the one I remember the most on their day is Blackbird.

Also on Steve + Emily’s wedding day this song was played… My second shooter, Aysha, called me out when I started “groovin” along to this song during the reception. Apparently I dance like a white person. Go figure! 🙂
