Mike + Lindsey | Engaged | Milwaukee Wedding Photography

I met Lindsey a few years back at a high school art show. She started teaching at my alma mater a few years after I graduated, in my beloved art department. I regularly go back to the school for their art shows (it was definitely easier when I lived close by, living a state away makes it a bit more challenging, but I still try to make the effort!) One of my fellow CG classmates was student teaching in the district and he introduced me to her.
When she reached out to me about capturing her wedding I was so flattered! When a fellow artist and photographer puts their trust in you to capture something so huge it really means so much!

Mike and Lindsey drove up to Elk Horn for their engagement session (they had family close by, making it a perfect meeting point for our session) it lent the perfect backdrop for their engagement pictures!

One of my favorite things about shooting engagement sessions is the freedom. The freedom to goof off, be weird, not having to worry about a time crunch or getting clothes dirty, or what grandma might think of you ;)

Can we just take a second to appreciate what an awesome job Mike did on this vintage inspired ring? *swoon*

This was super cool. They tore down the old bank but kept the facade and turned the lot into a park! Never seen anything like that, but I love it!!!

We had noticed the marquis in the town square and wanted pictures under it, the lights weren't on, but as we passed we noticed someone inside working, so we walked in and asked if it would be possible to have the lights turned on. The guy was super nice and ended up coming out to tell us about the history of the theatre, and asked if we had ever been. We said we hadn't, so then he invited us in so we could see the place!!! He even let us take some pictures inside!!!
